Amanda Meyer
FOUNDER & CEO
Amanda Meyer is a veteran publicist with specialized experience championing creative talent across the entertainment, visual, film and Broadway industries. Amanda’s impact is fueled by her passion for the arts and an unwavering commitment to her clients' success.
She is currently involved in the global media buzz surrounding Wicked, the two-part film adaptation by Universal Pictures, as she represents Academy Award winner Paul Tazewell, mastermind behind the film's stunning costumes. Additional clients include the legendary actress and singer Betty Buckley, hailed as "the voice of Broadway," Tony Award-winning designer and creative director Clint Ramos (Lincoln Center, New York City Center, Maybe Happy Ending), Tony-nominated designer Dane Laffrey (Maybe Happy Ending), Emmy-nominated costume designer Jeriana San Juan (On Swift Horses, M3GAN 2.0) and Brian Moreland for Broadway's revival of Othello. She also represents Mercer Labs, the innovative Museum of Art and Technology in NYC.
Prior to launching her own company, Amanda worked at well-regarded PR firms in NYC and Chicago. Former clients include the esteemed Rockwell Group, with its CIVILIAN Hotel, while it rapidly transformed from a construction site to a Manhattan hotspot. She also represented several Broadway productions, including The Wiz, Tony Award-winning revival of Parade directed by Tony-winning director Michael Arden, Lee Daniels'' Tony-nominated "Ain't No More," Cameron Crowe's "Almost Famous," "Bob Fosse's Dancin'" revival, and more.
Amanda's theatrical expertise is rooted in her decade-long tenure as representative for Broadway In Chicago, where she led press campaigns for over 300 Broadway productions including several World Premieres, Chicago Theatre, Blue Man Group and Cirque du Soleil. A career highlight for her in Chicago was Hamilton, guiding publicity for its record-breaking run.
A specialist in immersive and experiential attractions, Amanda has represented the Original Immersive Van Gogh, Alexa Meade’s Wonderland Dreams and Monet’s Garden: The Immersive Experience in New York City. Amanda holds a Bachelor of Arts in Marketing Communications with a concentration in Public Relations from Columbia College Chicago.
Kate Maniuszko
ACCOUNT EXECUTIVE
Kate Maniuszko is thrilled to join AJM Public Relations as a Press Assistant. She crossed paths with Amanda Meyer as an intern at DKC/O&M where she supported high-profile campaigns for Cabaret at the Kit Kat Club, Gutenberg!, Hadestown, Stereophonic, and The Wiz.
Kate began her career in publicity interning at Lincoln Center Theater, contributing to the Broadway revival of Camelot. She recently worked for Keith Sherman & Associates on projects including The Banksy Museum, Chita Rivera Awards, Drama Desk Awards, Fatherland, the Japan Parade, and Our Class. She holds a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Musical Theatre from Otterbein University, with minors in Dance and Exercise Science & Health Promotion.
Payal Patel
SENIOR ACCOUNT EXECUTIVE
Payal is a multilingual media spokesperson with more than 15 years of experience in strategic communications and marketing. Prior to launching her consulting practice, Audacity Communications, Payal served as the chief spokesperson for Chicago’s Navy Pier and spearheaded the communications department for one of the top destinations in the world, which welcomes 9 million guests annually.
Payal serves on the board for Publicity Club of Chicago and is a Global Goals Ambassador on behalf of the United Nations Association of the United States of America. She is also a former board member of the Public Relations Society of America (PRSA), Women in Sports and Events (WISE), UN Women, and the Chicago Leadership Alliance (CLA), an exclusive network of distinguished leaders in Chicago.
Payal received her Master of Science in Communication (Crisis Management) from Northwestern University, where she now serves as a guest lecturer. She also holds a Bachelor of Arts in Broadcast Journalism, Public Relations, and Spanish Language and Literature from Marquette University. She is a recipient of the MarCom Platinum Award from the Association of Marketing and Communication Professionals (AMCP), Golden Trumpet Award from the Publicity Club of Chicago (PCC) and Chicago Skyline Award of Excellence from the Public Relations Society of America (PRSA).
